John Francisco as Reno Ichikawa on Kaiju No. 8 Tagalog Dubbing


Voice actor John Francisco brings to life the character Reno Ichikawa, a disciplined and determined recruit who becomes one of Kafka Hibino’s closest allies in the Defense Force of Kaiju No.8.

Francisco has quickly emerged as a notable talent in the contemporary Filipino dubbing scene. Known for his strong vocal presence and adaptability, he has demonstrated the ability to portray both heroic and complex characters across various productions.

His previous work includes performances in high-profile anime titles such as My Hero Academia, where he voiced multiple characters including Present Mic, Eraserhead, Edgeshot, Cementoss, Kotaro Shimura, and the antagonist Toya Todoroki (Dabi). His portfolio also features roles in Solo Leveling, Gachiakuta, Rumi, Marnali, and Sentenced to Be a Hero.

In Kaiju No. 8, Francisco’s interpretation of Reno Ichikawa emphasizes the character’s intelligence, loyalty, and determination to succeed within the Defense Force.
