From Workshop Training to Anime Roles: The Voice Acting Journey of Jerah Bernard Eusebio


In the evolving landscape of Filipino voice acting, emerging talents continue to shape the industry through dedication, training, and passion. One of these rising individuals is Jerah Bernard Eusebio, whose journey reflects steady growth within the field of anime dubbing.

Eusebio began honing his craft through active participation in the Stop Voice Acting Workshop, completing multiple batches including Batch 2, Batch 7, Batch 8, Batch 9, and Batch 11. His continued involvement in these training programs demonstrates a strong commitment to developing his vocal skills, character interpretation, and overall performance as a voice actor.

A significant milestone in his career is his role as the voice behind Tamsy Caines in the anime Gachiakuta. Being part of a full 24-episode season allowed Eusebio to fully engage with the story’s progression and better understand the depth and importance of his character. By studying both the anime adaptation and its original manga, he was able to deliver a more informed and authentic portrayal of Tamsi, highlighting his dedication to the role.

In addition to his main role, Eusebio has also taken on incidental and extra roles in other anime productions such as Kaiju No. 8. These roles included a variety of characters, ranging from soldiers and classmates to scientists and operators. While often brief, these performances provided him with valuable opportunities to explore vocal flexibility and experiment with different character types an essential skill in the voice acting profession.

Through these experiences, Eusebio has gradually built a diverse portfolio, showcasing his ability to adapt his voice across different roles and genres. His continued participation in dubbing projects also reflects his growing presence in the industry.
