“Do Something Today That Your Future Self Will Thank You For” - The VoiceMaster Inspires the Youth


In a powerful talk with students, renowned Filipino voice artist and motivational speaker Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales shared an inspiring message about purpose, talent, and leadership for the youth.

During the session, Gonzales emphasized that every young person has unique abilities that should be developed and shared with others. Through organizations like Voice of the Youth Network, he explained how young Filipinos can gain opportunities, platforms, and even international exposure to showcase their talents and ideas.

He also shared stories from his own journey; from traveling to different countries, directing voice talents, and working in animation and dubbing to encourage the youth to believe in their potential.

According to Gonzales, discovering one’s purpose begins with asking important questions: Who are you? What do you do? Who do you do it for? What do they need? And how will their lives change because of what you do?

More than success, he highlighted that true purpose comes from using one’s passion to create a positive impact on others.

Ending his talk with a powerful reminder, Gonzales encouraged the youth to take action today, saying:

“Do something today that your future self will thank you for.”

Through voice, creativity, and leadership, he reminded young Filipinos that they have the power to inspire change and shape the future.

Kathleen Sone: From Scholarship to Voice Over Flowers

She had no formal training, no guidance, and no certainty whether her voice work would remain a side hustle or grow into a full-time career.
