The VoiceMaster Inspiring CreatiVoices Interns
The VoiceMaster Pocholo Gonzales inspiring CreatiVoices interns to live with gratitude, enthusiasm, and purpose in their journey as voice artists
At CreatiVoices Productions, inspiration is as important as training. During one of his sessions with interns, Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales reminded everyone that voice artistry is not just about technique it’s about humanity, gratitude, and purpose.
He began with a simple yet powerful activity: asking interns to look at their partners, appreciate them, and say thank you. This exercise highlighted the importance of connection and humility in creative work. “Hold their hand, say thank you for being kind and nice,” he encouraged, reminding them that appreciation builds stronger communities.
Pocholo also emphasized the value of being alive, awake, and enthusiastic. For him, being alive means being grateful for existence; being awake means being aware of truth and purpose; and being enthusiastic means recognizing that joy comes from God’s presence. He explained that the word enthusiasm comes from enteo, meaning “God within.” “Whatever you do, put God first, and everything will follow,” he shared.
His message was deeply philosophical, connecting the present to the past and future. He reminded interns that just as national heroes like Jose Rizal defined their humanity through the people they met and the actions they took, today’s generation must also live with purpose. “What are you doing to define your humanity?” he asked, urging them to think beyond personal success and toward legacy.
Key Lessons from The VoiceMaster
- Gratitude matters. Appreciate those around you and acknowledge their kindness.
- Be alive, awake, enthusiastic. Live with awareness, energy, and joy rooted in faith.
- Define your humanity. Your actions today shape how you’ll be remembered tomorrow.
- Copying is part of growth. We learn by imitating mentors, parents, and culture but we must improve and share what we’ve learned.
- Put God at the center. Faith and humility guide creativity and purpose.
For the interns, the session was eye-opening. What seemed like a simple activity became a profound reflection on life, purpose, and artistry. Pocholo’s words reminded them that being a voice artist is not just about performance it’s about living with passion, gratitude, and a commitment to inspire others.
