Ramiro TV: From Cartoon Voices to Dubbing Director

Ramiro TV, dubbing director and content creator, inspiring the next generation of Filipino voice artists through discipline, gratitude, and passion

For many, cartoons are simply childhood entertainment. But for Ramiro TV, they were the spark that ignited a lifelong passion for voice artistry. Today, he is not only a dubbing director at Creative Voices Production but also a voice artist and content creator, inspiring others through his channel, Ramiro TV.

Ramiro’s journey began in high school, where he discovered the joy of imitating voices. He mimicked teachers, classmates, and comedians, honing his skills through playful impersonations. By college, his talent had become a tool for humor and connection, even helping him stand out in sales work as he entertained clients and doctors with his voice impressions.

The turning point came when he discovered Creative Voices Production online. Searching for workshops, he found the program led by Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales, who opened doors for aspiring talents. Ramiro recalls how he auditioned with impersonations, was accepted into a one-day workshop, and eventually became a team leader for his batch. That experience solidified his dream of becoming a voice artist.

Over the years, Ramiro’s dedication paid off. He became a dubbing director for internal projects at Creative Voices, guiding new talents and passing on the lessons he learned from mentors like Danny Mandia, Neil, Ada, and Pocholo himself. He emphasizes that the industry is not just about competition but about collaboration and growth: “If there’s a project that fits you, it will go to you. If it’s not for you, then it’s not yours. Our goal is to help everyone in the industry.”

Ramiro also highlights the importance of discipline and gratitude. He believes that voice artists must care for their voice, their mental and physical health, and remain grounded. “Don’t think too much of yourself. Always be grateful. Whoever helped you, remember them, because you’re nothing without them.”

His advice to aspiring voice artists is clear:

- Don’t be afraid to try new things. Growth comes from experimentation and practice.
- Join workshops. Training provides structure and guidance that self-study alone cannot.
- Take care of your voice and health. Sustainability in the industry requires discipline.
- Stay humble and grateful. Success is built on community and mentorship.

Ramiro’s vision for the future is one of expansion. He hopes to multiply directors, scriptwriters, and voice talents through CVAP, meeting the growing demand for online content. For him, passion is limitless, and the joy of voice artistry lies in nurturing that passion and sharing it with others.
